OK folks.
this is Wynyard Hall.
I’ll simply show you a gatepost and half a facade,
because some noodle parked his jeep outside of the door . ..
(maybe he owned the place – in which case . .. sorry Sir)

anyhow . . onwards and upwards
details . . you like details,
heck – folks keep on asking me for details -
so here’s a detail of a fireplace . .

are you happy now, you detail freaks . . . . . ?
AH . . almost forgot to mention.
one of the bridesmaids couldn’t make it.
she managed to fracture her knee in three places in Dubai.
(must have been travelling around -
heck – after the first fracture – I’d have stayed in one place)
ANYWAY . as I mentioned,
she couldn’t make it to the wedding.
so she cheerfully joked that she’d sent a cardboard cut-out of herself . . ..
ooh – daffodils.
almost forgot. . . .flipping daffodils
here’s a pic of daffodils

errm . .concentrate alan, concentrate . . . there’s a story to tell here . .
(the above picture shows our lovely Bride Lisa, at dusk . .
we noticed one or two daffodils growing on a nearby hill,
so took a wander over . . as you do . . . )
anyway . . the story continues . . .
and back on track,
you’re interested in Bex the bridesmaids cardboard cut-out aren’t you ?
nah – nobody would do that.
nobody sensible would send a cardboard cut-out to a wedding because they couldn’t make it . . . .

err . is this spooky or what ?
Bex the bridesmaid – currently thousands of miles away -
has sent a cardboard cut-out of herself because she can’t make it to the wedding . ..
oh – the fellers found her too !
below- we see Bex the bridesmaid with the three best men
they’re all taking this very seriously, of course)

whilst we’re on the subject of fellers . .
I thought it might be fun to watch the fellers whilst they waited for the Bride . . .
see who suddenly feels the need to check the rings in the pockets etc . . .
(the pictures below need to be looked at as a little series).

you can almost hear Martin (the guy on the right) say PHEW . . .
anyhow – a merry band makes its way up the aisle,
preceded by two little flower girls – aged 2 and a half . .
plus one little page boy aged 5.
the little girls scattered rose petals down the aisle.
now if anyone knows a two year old – this is pretty good going . .
children of that age don’t always do as you want them to !!

the beautiful lady arrives in a Manuel Mota wedding dress.
she gazes lovingly. etc etc.
things happen.
rings are exchanged.
people read stuff.
then they kiss.
& kapow. it’s done !

there were quite a lot of guests.
110 I think – though i haven’t tried counting heads.
you’ll see the guests in the picture below.
the strange suited contraption at the bottom left
is a bit of a video man. (nothing to do with me).

oh – there were three best men.
not a problem you understand – but it called for synchronised speeches.
rehearsals for the famous synchro speeches are taking place in the picture above.

ah – you want to see the room at Wynyard Hall.
so does Lisa . .
the above picture shows Lisa – checking over the room prior to the entry of the wedding guests.

groom makes speech
everyone listens.
well – almost everyone listens
- this little girl spent the time organising a pony trek across the chair back.

ah – we mentioned three guys making speeches.
synchro speeches.

aw nuts – I can’t resist making some art images.
here’s a few to be going on with.

after 6 days – I still haven’t finished working on these pictures,
so here are some more to keep you smiling – more after the weekend.
