the Gentlemans name is pronounced volfie . . it’s complicated – just say volfie !   :)

breaking of glass.

yep . . it’s a tradition, seems fun to me.

wedding at hexham hydro

oh yes – Carla and Tom – and the Hexham Hydro in the background.

and the bridge . . . mustn’t forget the bridge

Carla and Tom live in a village called Haydon Bridge,

and the actual bridge (yes – that stone thing spanning the river) is quite dear to them.

so we went along and took some pictures on it, which elicited curious reactions from the locals.

ah there was a story surrounding the first dance too . .

dj plugs in lights . .

everything is fine

dj switches on lights

KABOOM

(well, more of a click really)

lights go out.

fuse blown.

so whilst the fuse was being located by the staff of Hexham Hydro

a talented guest climbed aboard a grand piano,

and rattled off the theme to Titanic.

it sounds a bit mad, but it was really quite magical,

the entire room started humming and singing the words to the tune

as our couple began to dance. . . .

then another click . .(not a KABOOM)

lights went on – and the original plan resumed (music n dancing)

the wedding pictures are now complete – if you were a guest at the wedding, you will  have the password,
