Nina and Mark were married at the Sacred Heart R.C. Church in Gosforth
and had a reception at Linden Hall.
OK. that’s the formal introduction over . .
now for some pictures !

righty ho . . where do we start ?
at the beginning I suppose.
well – this is the beginning of the day . . Nina is helped into her wedding dress by sundry bridesmaids and mum,
oh – it’s a reflection in a mirror, and in front of the mirror, is a card from Ninas father !
the gentle art of ear ring balancing . . (or adjusting . . or . . whatever it is that pretty girls do with ear rings . . )
Ninas father arrives and . . .
well – this doesn’t need words . you can see for yourself !
Ah . . I find some shooses lurking about the room . . Jimmy Choo shoes,
(are these the same shoes as worn by Jimmy Choo ?
Jimmy must be a bit of an odd feller . . .
they look more like something that would suit Nina.
Nina arrives at the church. and whilst hopping out of the car – she smiles !
actually, Nina spent a lot of time smiling !
as she disappeared into the church doorway with her father . .
she gave the most wonderful excited smile !
Ah – Nina marries Mark
the Priest smiles
the wedding party applaud
the church applauds
and the best man . . examines a pew . .
at this point in the service – the lady from the registration service appears and officiates as the marriage register is signed.

(they didn’t defocus themselves – it’s something that I did . . just in case you wondered)
anyway – time passes,
Nina and Mark do the signing thing ..
then the Priest (a really nice fellow) also witnesses the register
and that’s what you see in the picture above . .
(registration lady looking on. . . to ensure that he does it right . . .)
wozzat . . everything went blue . .
apologies . . please indulge me here,
I like making blue toned images at the moment . .
fear not – Nina and Mark will also receive a picture in full glowing colour.
but for now . . it’s blue . .

navigating the press of bodies towards the car
the chauffeur opens the door and 1000 watts of sunshine (Nina’s smile) enters the car !
everyone then Whizzes over
(or hops or trips depending on mode of transport employed)
to Linden Hall for the reception meal and general party atmosphere.

Ninas best friend, that’s who . .
(also a bridesmaid – alternative picture title).
OK. at this wedding, things just happened.
nothing at all to do with me. they just happened,
so when the guys grabbed the girl – what do I do . . take a picture (well, several really).
ah the meal . . then speeches . .
here – the best man makes his speech,
whilst the toastmaster (Ninas brother) works out what to say in his !
wandering about the room . . I find the little flower girl absolutely fascinated by the grown-ups speeches . .
(the speeches were good – perhaps the day was quite exhausting for her . . )
ooh – what’s this . . . it looks like a musician . .
(you can tell by the tattoo on his finger)
you can probably also tell by the saxophone that he’s holding . .
would you care to dance ?
I think it’s a yes !
not to be outdone . . everyone joins in with the dancing . .
this is interesting,
a picture – basically taken in the dark . . (it was very very dark . . . . )
but something is giving of a strange light
something that flashes and whizzes
and incidentally – made the guests murmur
oooh
(and aaaah )
could it be . .
yes . . someone was igniting incendiary devices
over on the edge of the Linden Hall Golf course
that might have been what was providing the strange lighting effect on the crowd above
it was quite a display.
