Alnwick Gardens, the wedding of Lana and Mike
ok . . it’s a nice sparkly bracelet . .
but it looks nice . .and she’s gonna wear it
so I’m photographing it . . so as far as I’m concerned . . it’s a wedding picture !
Lana. . in the last few moments before makeup is completed . . waiting . .
I swooped and clicked . . . then ran off . .
makeup completed. girl is in dress. girl goes to Alnwick Gardens, girl finds man in kilt.
girl marries man in kilt . .
kinda what she’d planned really !
these kilted types bring with them other kilted types who make a great deal of noise
above, we see Lana and Mike, now married, hopping out into the sunshine whilst a kilted feller makes an extremely loud noise
(I stood close to him to get this picture . . honestly . . those things are bloody noisy close-up )
aw . c’mon . . you can’t get married at Alnwick Gardens and NOT have a picture of this lovely place.
it has the most massive fountain you can imagine, even bigger than the one in my garden.
(I’m kidding . . I don’t have a fountain, or even a pond . though, bizarrely, we have a lot of frogs . . that’s another story).
at any rate – this fountain is most impressive
(it’s a cascade, covering a hillside . . and the water almost dances down it)
right . . you’ve seen enough fountains for one day . . we’ll move on .
(I could watch that thing for hours . . fountains do that sort of thing to you don’t they)
