An absolute stack

(absolute stack being the technical term for 'a lot')

I'm swerving towards using more and more pure black and white these days

(monochrome if you're into big words)

It might be fashion, my age, or just some sort of taste evolving.

however, I think that black and white has a purity about it that is really hard to match.

The merry throng then frolicked below the photographer

balanced neatly on only one toe
precariously placed on a second storey window ledge.

Such heroic deeds are simply part of my humble life.

with the window closed behind me.

One guest, stood around too long when the pressies were being wrapped & ended up gift wrapped with a bow on her head.

This lady is blissfully unaware of the alien lifeform
which is busy attacking her head from the rear.

I think that ladies hats are absolutely great fun.

A very simple and elegant cake lurks to the right

(and above too)

decorated in an equally simple and elegant fashion
with lilies.

this matches Claires bouquet.

very very tasteful

and probably very very tasty too.

I always think that it's a shame to carve these cakes up to eat them since so much love goes into their design.

A rather famous bottleneck appears,
this immediately causes a traffic jam near to the champagne flute junction.

Bridesmaids pour the bubbly,
then everyone smiles.

(you'll just have to imagine that -

pressy unwrapping manouevres,

deft fingerwork,
might no doubt be complicated by
the contents of the bottle above . . .

 

 

Hah - caught you out,
the wedding came and happened as planned.

all parties involved then zoomed out of the doorway
and had several pictures taken on the lawn
(as one does).

I much prefer informal pictures
(as I think, do Claire and Daniel),
but - hey - gotta keep the relatives happy . .
